← Spare Moments

Repetitive patterns, solitary objects, and vibrant colors dominate my images.
I started photography with a loaned Minolta film camera. With coaching from a good friend, I kept a diary of what I was trying to accomplish and what was successful/failure, for every photo. I learned about focal length, aperture, techniques and emotion. Film has come and gone, and the digital age is upon us.
Found myself in Chicago on a software conference and touring the city with a friend. Left my Canon Powershot at the hotel, but soon discovered I had a useful camera within my smartphone. I have added filters and discovered the fun in images again.
